All the Benefits of Braces, None of the Drawbacks

Your Choice Is Clear

A longstanding option for straightening teeth, conventional metal braces produce generally good results and are still widely used to this day. While their effectiveness at aligning teeth is unquestionable, some wearers would prefer a type of treatment that wasn’t so obvious to everyone else and that made maintenance easier. A smile dominated by metal can make some patients feel self-conscious about the way they look and how they sound when they speak. Dr. Kenneth Ackley can alleviate all of your concerns about braces with Invisalign® in Lansing, MI.

Equipped with training from The Dawson Academy, as well as Kois Center, Spear Education, and AADSM, Dr. Ackley is exceptionally qualified to put a spectacularly straight smile back on your face. An aligned bite is essential not only to smile aesthetics but to a comfortable, normal smile function as well. Using his cosmetic dentistry expertise, he can bring you the many benefits of Invisalign.

The Benefits of Invisalign

Invisible Braces Are Better

Dr. Ackley can offer customized treatment with durable, clear plastic Invisalign aligners that no one will notice instead of highly visible metal brackets and wires. You’ll have dental impressions taken, then, at a subsequent visit, be given multiple sets of plastic aligners that are made specifically for you, as well as instructions on how to use them to get the optimal results. Dr. Ackley can provide this treatment either as a standalone service or as a part of full mouth reconstruction. He even offers a free second opinion if you’re not certain about Invisalign!

Nothing to See but Straight Teeth

While undergoing Invisalign treatment, you’ll wear clear plastic aligners on your teeth every day for up to 22 hours, removing them only when it’s time to eat or to brush and floss your teeth. Your aligners will stay firmly and discreetly in your mouth as you go about your daily activities, but come out easily when you need to remove them. Food particles won’t get stuck in your aligners like they can with traditional braces. You’ll switch to a new set of aligners at regular intervals—every two weeks or so—as your teeth progressively move into their ideal position and begin to see straighter teeth in just weeks!
